Missing the flow:
Your bathroom is part of your house. Sometimes people forget that maintaining the same theme across your entire home is crucial. While you could play around with the accessories, drapes, light fittings but maintaining the overall schema of colour tone and pattern, still helps each room stand out and not blend in.
Messing your priority:
It is completely understandable that we feel that renovation is a once in a lifetime job hence everything we have ever desired for should fit in, irrespective of the space and budget we have in hand. That is being unrealistic. Jotting down the key ‘must have’ features along with ‘not so critical’ list will clear your mind of unrealistic expectations.
Keeping practicality in the backburner:
The personal space where most of us start and end our day needs to be practical in its functionality and then address the aesthetics. It should not be the other way around. Concerns like having ample and closed space to store toiletries could be something to think before the hammer hits the ground.
Overdoing it:
“Simplicity is the keynote of all the true elegance”-A saying which is easy to miss out when you have a range of tiles, flooring options to choose from. Also avoid having accessories which once stand out of the curve but with over popularity, turn into a cliche.
